TWU is a BCcampus!
That’s good news for TWU students and faculty who want to use any of the 154 textbooks funded by the BC Ministry of Advanced Education and managed by BCcampus.
The titles in the collection cover the top 40 first & second year subject areas in BC’s public post-secondary institutions. Like instructors at any institution, TWU faculty may have their own preference for textbooks that are not be part of the Open Textbook listings.
Alloway Library’s online catalogue is updated as new titles are added or replace older material.
Here’s the quick intro about the Open Textbook Project on BCcampus’ website.

Our open textbooks are openly licensed using a Creative Commons license, and are offered in various e-book formats free of charge, or print on demand books available at cost.”
Current textbooks cover business and accounting, nursing, maths, biology, chemistry, history, communications, computer sciences, English, psychology, sociology, philosophy and writing among others.
