Video transcripts are a great resource

Did you know that the Media Education Foundation (MEF) offers full transcripts available to download for free for almost every film in their collection? The transcripts are accessible through Alloway Library's catalogue for every MEF title we own. They are a great resource which provide quick access to text of MEF films for easy citation and increased comprehension. The transcripts may be printed, copied, and distributed for educational, nonprofit use.

The Media Education Foundation produces and distributes documentary films and other educational resources to inspire critical reflection on the social, political, and cultural impact of American mass media.

Alloway Library has 28 videorecording titles from this producer including:Some other producers also include transcripts and online resources for their media. Look for useful resource links in the library catalogue record for any title. For a list of all transcripts and other resources from MEF, visit the Media Education Foundation Materials and Resources page.
